Shutdown, protests held across parts of Chenab Valley over Rajouri attack

A series of strikes and protests took place across the Chenab Valley region in response to the recent attack on civilians in Rajouri, which resulted in the deaths of six people, including two minors. The attacks have caused widespread outrage and anger among residents of the region.

In response, residents in parts of Doda and Kishtwar districts participated in a complete shutdown of shops and businesses. Protesters took to the streets, raising slogans against Pakistan and the LG Administration led by Manoj Sinha in Thathri, according to live video report on The Chenab Times. The protests were largely peaceful, with police present to ensure the safety of demonstrators. The shutdown were called on by Seerat Committee Doda and various other local organisations for Tuesday.

The attack in Rajouri has brought attention to the ongoing issue of violence and conflict in the region, and residents are calling for more effective measures to protect civilians. Many believe that the LG Administration has not done enough to address the issue and are calling for stronger action to be taken.

Overall, the strikes and protests in Chenab Valley on Tuesday reflect the widespread anger and frustration felt by residents over the ongoing violence in the region. It remains to be seen what steps will be taken to address these concerns and bring about lasting peace and security in the area.
