Moon Sighted: First Ramadan to be observed on Thursday in J&K

The Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee announced on Wednesday that the moon for the holy month of Ramazan had been sighted in Pakistan, and thus, the month of fasting will begin on March 23, as per reports.

The announcement was made after a meeting of the committee, which was chaired by Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad. The sighting of the moon was confirmed by various witnesses from different parts of the country.
