JKBOSE Says Class 10 Results to Be Declared Within Days, Warns Against Fake Links

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education has advised students to remain cautious of fake websites and misleading claims regarding the declaration of Class 10 examination results, stating that the results will be announced within a few days.

According to details received by The Chenab Times, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Tuesday cautioned students against paying attention to fake links and unofficial updates circulating on social media and other platforms about the declaration of Class 10 results.

Information was available with The Chenab Times that the board said in an official press note that the results of the annual Class 10 examinations will be declared within a few days, shortly after the appointment of a new chairman. The board clarified that several misleading claims are being circulated online, falsely announcing result dates and directing students to unauthorised websites.

JKBOSE said that the evaluation process for the annual Class 10 examinations of the Kashmir Valley and the winter zone areas of the Jammu division is almost complete. However, the board noted that formal approval of the results by the Result Declaration Committee, which is headed by the JKBOSE chairman, is a mandatory step before the official announcement.

The board said that in the absence of a chairman, the approval process has not yet been completed, which may result in a slight delay in the declaration of results. It added that once the new chairman assumes charge and the required formalities are completed, the results will be declared without further delay.

Students have been advised to wait for the official announcement and rely only on the JKBOSE website for authentic information related to the results. The board reiterated that www.jkbose.nic.in is the only authorised platform for accessing credible updates and result notifications.

JKBOSE also warned students and parents against falling prey to scamsters and what it described as fake narratives being spread by certain mischievous elements. The board said such attempts are aimed at creating unnecessary confusion and anxiety among students awaiting their results.

The board urged students to remain patient and refrain from sharing or engaging with unverified information until an official notification is issued.
