GUNTUR, ANDHRA PRADESH – A free orthopaedic medical camp will be held in Guntur on Sunday, June 14, offering essential health services to the community. The initiative aims to provide consultations and awareness on various bone, joint, and musculoskeletal disorders.
The camp is being jointly organized by the Service Health Organisation (SHO) Hypertension and Diabetic Club and Manavata Voluntary Service Organisation as part of their ongoing specialist healthcare programs. According to a statement released on Friday, the event is scheduled to take place from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the SHO building located at 2/1 Brodipet, Guntur.
Renowned orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. P. Seetharama Prasad, is slated to lead the medical consultations. He will offer free advice and assessments to patients experiencing issues related to bones, joints, and other musculoskeletal conditions. The camp intends to address a wide spectrum of orthopaedic ailments, including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, knee ailments, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and osteoporosis.
Prior to the consultations, a scientific awareness session will be conducted for all attendees. This session is designed to educate participants about different orthopaedic conditions, their causes, symptoms, and the latest available treatment options. Specialists will also elaborate on preventive measures, diagnostic approaches, and various treatment modalities pertinent to these health concerns.
The organizers highlighted that the program will also cover issues such as Vitamin D deficiency, gout, uric acid-related disorders, and the implications of joint replacement surgeries.
