Four individuals sustained injuries when a vehicle veered off the road and overturned near Thard on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in the Udhampur district on Friday.
The Chenab Times has learned that the accident occurred while the vehicle was en route from Bhaderwah towards Jammu. Preliminary reports indicate that the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to the overturning incident on the busy highway.
Emergency services were alerted promptly. A police team reached the accident site shortly after receiving information and initiated a rescue operation to assist the occupants of the vehicle.
All four injured individuals were subsequently transported to the Associated Hospital at Government Medical College (GMC), Udhampur. They are currently receiving medical treatment for their injuries, and their condition is being monitored by medical professionals.
