Two individuals have died and two others are in critical condition following a road accident involving an Eco vehicle in the Kotranka subdivision of Rajouri district on Sunday.
The accident occurred at Kandi Morha as the vehicle, registered as JK11D 7667, was traveling from Kandi towards Mohra.
According to details received by The Chenab Times, a total of six people were injured in the mishap. All injured individuals were promptly transported to the Government Medical College in Rajouri for medical attention.
Tragically, two of the injured succumbed to their wounds while undergoing treatment. Two other individuals remain in critical condition, receiving intensive care. The remaining two injured persons have been reported as stable and are recovering.
Local police have registered the incident and initiated a thorough investigation into the circumstances that led to the accident. Further details are expected as the investigation progresses.
