SRINAGAR, May 5 (The Chenab Times) – The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has ordered the transfer of 11 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers under the AGMUT cadre, with immediate effect. The reshuffle includes two officers posted to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to an official order issued by the MHA on Monday, Gurpal Singh (AGMUT:2014) and Anil Banka (AGMUT:2015), both serving in Delhi, have been transferred to Jammu and Kashmir.
The reshuffle spans several Union Territories and states, including Delhi, Puducherry, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Ladakh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, and Lakshadweep. Y. L. N. Reddy and Vivek Kumar Tripathi have been posted to Mizoram, while Mohamed Mansoor L has been sent to Chandigarh, and Rudra Goud P.T. to Ladakh.The transfers, approved by the competent authority, aim to reinforce administrative efficiency across the AGMUT cadre regions. The officers are directed to assume their new responsibilities with immediate effect and until further orders.
