3G-4G is not stable, 2G speed in the name of 4G internet.
Thathri (Doda): From the previous 6 months Airtel India mobile user in Ward 2 and some other places in the town facing worst internet speed. Thathri tehsil in Doda district having total population of 59,955 (as per Census 2011). In which 4,938 people lives in Thathri town. After the ban on Aircel sim, Airtel and Jio become the top in the Thathri Tehsil. But Jio became second because of less network coverage in the area. Airtel Mobile became no. 1 and got the majority of the users from the town.
But unfortunately, after some days of ban on Aircel, Airtel Mobile boosts the speed and network. But that was for only to beat Jio in the area. After Airtel got the majority, its Internet speed become the worst ever. People of the above said area get only 0-5 KBPS average speed and have to go on roof top to surf the internet. And it doesn’t works on single floor. Users have to try 3rd floor for getting 4G speed. They also filed complaints via customer care and went many time to local Airtel office but they expressed the excuse of system upgradation. And gave assurance that a team will come here and sort out the issue but nothing happened till now.
After talking with the locals, there seems only the option to give boost up to Jio, or choose the BSNL if Jio didn’t works. They also request to Airtel India company to sort out the speed issue within days otherwise they will make step to choose another network.
