On Friday, police announced they had detained another Hizb-ul-Mujahideen fighter in Jammu’s Kishtwar area.
The third person who joined terrorist ranks a few days ago and managed to elude cordon and search operations has been arrested in a joint operation by the Kishtwar Police, Army 17 RR, and CRPF 52 Bn from the Kulna forest region of Patimahalla Palmar, according to the police.
Muzamil Hussain shah, son of Ab. Rasheed shah, of Meerna Patimahalla in Palmar, District Kishtwar, was identified by the spokesperson.
In addition, one grenade, one AK magzine, and 30 AK rounds were retrieved from his possession, according to the statement.
According to the statement, a case FIR No.18/2021 has already been filed at Police Station Dacchan U/Sec. 13/18-B ULA(P) and further investigation is ongoing.
It’s worth noting that Kishtwar police apprehended two newly recruited Hizb terrorists a few days ago.
