Passengers stranded at Police Post Kishtwar from 5 hours; Wants to go home

Watch:

Amid coronavirus scare, section 144 imposed in all J&K. But in Kishtwar, the strictness make hurdle for some people who want to go home. Our team visited Police Post Kishtwar near Thathri-Kishtwar bridge. People who came from Jammu to go back to their homes are stranded there.

Speaking to Chenab Times, a passenger said, “I am traveling from Jammu to my home, I was not stopped anywhere from Jammu till here, but here police stopped us from 4-5 hours.”

“We are stopped at strange location, where we can’t go anywhere, we don’t know anyone here. We are going to home to stay with our family at home.” he added.

While viewing the scene at this Police Post, almost 100 passengers stranded and gathered there. These people were stopped by police as 144 section doesn’t allow the movement. But if they were not stopped anywhere from Jammu to Thathri, then why they are being gathered here from 4-5 hours.

One more question is there, why the bus allowed to run on Highway with these loaded passengers?
