After a BDS squad discovered the bag empty, a bomb scare that forced the suspension of vehicular traffic along Bhimber Gali on the Poonch highway was discovered to be a hoax.
According to the Kashmir-based news agency GNS, a bag was discovered near Tota Gali along the Bhimber Gali – Poonch Highway. According to them, a BDS team was dispatched, and vehicular traffic movement along the road was temporarily halted.
The bag, however, was found to be empty by the visiting BDS team after a careful examination, they said.
Following assurances from BDS officials, SDPO Mendhar Z A Jaffri told GNS that movement along the road was resumed.
