A deputation of Bhaderwah led by Adv Mohd Majid Malik along with other civil society members met with District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda Vikash Sharma and submitted a memorandum for the restoration of power supply in all parts of Bhaderwah , installation of transmission line from Pul Doda to Bhaderwah and construction of grid station in Bhaderwah here today.
Mohd Majid Malik briefed the DDC Doda that due to power blockade after snowfall in Bhaderwah people were facing numerous difficulties and there was an immediate need of the restoration of power supply and snow clearance of all inner and outer roads in Bhaderwah and also demanded availability of K.oil and fire wood. He also demanded DDC Doda Vikas Sharma to take the matter of Bhaderwah with higher education department and Jammu and Kashmir tourism department for opening of Ph.d course in GDC Bhaderwah along with new graduate courses and also identification of Bhaderwah in film tourist destination spots .He also demanded from district administration to organise snow festival in collaboration Bhaderwah Development Authority and Tourism department in tourist destination Jai , Padri , Gul Danda , Khellani and Kellar Bhalla. Khursheed Ahmed Qureshi was also accompanied the deputation. After patiently hearing the demand of the Bhaderwah , the DDC Doda Vikash Sharma assured that he will take up with the higher authorities soon.
Meanwhile Adv Mohd Majid Malik also talk to Nodal Officer Jammu Division Colleges and expressed resentment for neglecting Govt Degree College Bhaderwah in approving / identifing of Ph.d courses and demanded to reconsider the list and open Ph.d course along with undergraduate courses in GDC Bhaderwah .
