IYC National Secretary expressed gratitude towards people of J&K for “overwhelming” support to Bharat Jodo Yatra

Youth leader and national secretary of the Congress youth wing, Ajaz Ahmed Choudhary, who hails from the Pir-Panjal region of Jammu and Kashmir Union territory, has extended his gratitude to the people of Jammu and Kashmir for their overwhelming responses to the Bhart Jodo Yatra led by former Congress President and MP in Lok Sabha Shri Rahul Gandhi. While congratulating “Rahul Gandhi ji and all the Bharat Jodo Yatris on the completion of a historic padayatra, even in harsh winter they continued this journey braving all odds; the nation is proud of you all,” Mr. Ajaz Choudhary added.

Mr. Ajaz said in his press note while reacting to the Bhart Jodo Yatra that the Yatra has achieved its objectives by connecting people of different sections, communities, regions, and religions and has ensured no hate in society, as India and its foundation lie in unity in diversity.

Ajaz Choudhary also added that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have seen this Yatra as a ray of hope, as since many years, the JKUT has been bulldozed, and in a democratic country, officers are running the government in J&K, which is unfortunate and equally disappointing.

While concluding, he especially thanked the enthusiastic youth for participating in BJY and showering love towards Rahul Gandhi and other Bharat Jodo Yatris; the youths’ response to the yatra was remarkable, the IYC national secretary added.
