SRINAGAR: Legislators and various deputations from Jammu and Kashmir met with Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in Srinagar, presenting a range of critical issues pertaining to their respective constituencies and seeking prompt governmental intervention.
Information was available with The Chenab Times that the meetings involved several elected representatives, including MLA Ramnagar Sunil Bharadwaj, MLA Habbakadal Shamim Firdous, MLA Budhal Javaid Iqbal, MLA Kokernag Zaffar Ali Khatana, and MLA Thanamandi Muzaffar Iqbal Khan. Former minister Yashpaul Kundal was also among those who engaged in discussions with the Chief Minister.
The discussions centered on multifaceted development concerns, encompassing the necessity for augmentation of basic infrastructure, enhancement of road connectivity, strengthening of healthcare services, and improvement of educational facilities across their areas. Representatives also highlighted pressing issues related to public service delivery, emphasizing the need for efficient and responsive mechanisms to address citizen grievances.
Constituency-specific demands were also put forth, with an appeal for focused attention to ensure balanced and inclusive development throughout the Union Territory. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah reportedly gave a patient hearing to all the visiting legislators and deputations.
