Srinagar, May 07: National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah asserted on Thursday that the opposition INDIA bloc remains fully united, dismissing recent suggestions of internal cracks following electoral setbacks.
Information was available with The Chenab Times that the party’s highest decision-making body has conducted extensive deliberations concerning the enhancement of inter-party coordination within the alliance and a thorough review of significant political developments.
Dr Abdullah stated, “We are together. There is no division in the INDIA bloc.” The former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir also voiced substantial concerns regarding alleged electoral malpractices, pointing to accusations of “vote theft” by certain entities.
He expressed optimism that the matter would ultimately be presented before the Supreme Court, anticipating a just and transparent verdict.
