Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has released a new book titled ‘Jakhu Mandir-Sanjeevani Booti ka Rahasya’, emphasizing its potential to boost tourism in the region.
The Chenab Times has learned that the book, authored by Trilok Suryavanshi, a former Assistant Director of the Language, Art and Culture Department and Chief Spokesperson of the Himachal Pradesh Kisan Congress, delves into the mythological significance and historical aspects of the renowned Jakhu Temple in Shimla.
During the release event, Chief Minister Sukhu commended the author’s efforts, stating that the book offers valuable insights not only for devotees and tourists seeking information about the historic Jakhu Temple but also for those interested in the rich history and vibrant cultural heritage of Shimla.
The book explores the mythological narrative surrounding the world-famous Jakhu Temple and investigates the mystery associated with the Sanjeevani Booti, a mythical herb believed to possess restorative properties.
