Man from Doda’s Bhalessa Dies of Electrocution in Leh

Leh, Aug 31 (CT): A 23-year-old man from Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir died due to electrocution while working in Leh on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Jafar Hussain, son of Mohammad Ayoub, a resident of Achhair village in Bhalessa area of Doda.

According to details received by The Chenab Times, the incident took place on August 30 at around 11 a.m. in Sitoke, near Leh, when Hussain came in contact with a live electric line while unloading a dumper truck (registration number JK10B 2264).

He was rushed to SNM Hospital in Leh, where doctors declared him dead.
