The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has announced the results of the Higher Secondary Part One (Class 11) Annual Regular Combined (October-November) 2025 examinations, with an overall pass percentage of 83.27 per cent.
According to details received by The Chenab Times, the results for the Winter Zone were declared on February 2, 2026, following completion of the evaluation process. JKBOSE Chairman Ghulam Hassan Sheikh confirmed the announcement, stating that results were ready and made available online around noon, in coordination with the National Informatics Centre. Students can access their scorecards on the official websites jkbose.jk.gov.in or jkresults.nic.in by entering their roll number and registration number. The board advised candidates to avoid fraudulent links and rely only on official portals for verification.
The examinations were conducted for regular students in the combined session covering both soft and hard zones in Jammu and Kashmir. The October-November 2025 schedule aligned with the winter zone timing in parts of the region, where harsh weather conditions influence academic calendars. Results include performance across streams such as Science, Commerce, Arts, and Home Science, with marksheets detailing subject-wise scores, total marks, and qualifying status. A minimum of 33 per cent in each subject is required to pass.
The 83.27 per cent pass rate reflects the performance of thousands of students who appeared in the exams. This figure indicates a significant proportion of candidates qualified for progression to Class 12. Detailed gazette notifications and school-wise results are also expected to be released subsequently on the JKBOSE portals. Students who qualify can proceed with admissions for the next academic session, while those who need improvement have options for re-evaluation or supplementary examinations as per board norms.
In Jammu and Kashmir, the Class 11 results hold importance as they serve as a gateway to higher secondary education and influence future academic choices. The board conducts examinations twice a year for different zones to accommodate climatic variations across the Union Territory, which includes the Kashmir Valley, Jammu region, and Ladakh areas. The timely declaration provides relief to students and families awaiting outcomes amid preparations for the upcoming academic year.
Official sources emphasized that the process was completed efficiently despite logistical challenges in the region. Students dissatisfied with their results can apply for re-checking or obtaining photocopies of answer scripts through the online window opened by JKBOSE. The board continues to promote transparency in result processing and urges timely access to official communications for any updates.
