Jammu and Kashmir: APSCC Extends Eid-ul-Adha Greetings, Emphasizes Harmony

Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir: The All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC) has extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha. The committee expressed hope that the festival would foster peace, prosperity, and communal harmony throughout the Union Territory, with a particular focus on the Kashmir Valley.

Information was available with The Chenab Times indicating that APSCC Chairman Jagmohan Singh Raina conveyed heartfelt wishes to the Muslim community and all residents of Jammu and Kashmir for the sacred festival.

In a statement issued from Srinagar, Raina highlighted that Eid-ul-Adha embodies the core values of sacrifice, patience, humility, and selflessness. He emphasized that these virtues are instrumental in strengthening brotherhood and unity within society.

Raina underscored Jammu and Kashmir’s long-standing tradition of communal harmony, noting that diverse faith communities, including Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, and Buddhists, have historically coexisted with mutual respect and understanding.

The APSCC Chairman voiced his hope that Eid-ul-Adha would further reinforce the existing bonds of love, peace, and togetherness among the various communities residing in the Union Territory. He also called upon the younger generation to embrace the true teachings and values associated with religious festivals and to actively contribute to preserving the spirit of brotherhood and harmony.

On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, the APSCC Chairman also offered prayers for enduring peace, progress, and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.
