At least 70 sheep perished in Kali Choti Dhok in Poonch district on Sunday as a result of lightning and thunderstorms, officials said.
Ten sheep were also harmed in the natural occurrence late last night, according to authorities.

According to them, the flock belonged to one Sthara Shaikh, son of Abdul Aziz of Lathoong Surankote, and his family.
According to them, the incident occurred while nomads and livestock were migrating to Kashmir Valley for the season.
The incident was confirmed by a police officer to CT.
Meanwhile, those who have been harmed have asked the government to compensate them as soon as possible.
