J&K Govt Revokes PSA Against Shah Faesal, Two PDP Leaders Sartaj Madni and Peer Mansoor
Shah Faesal had quit the Indian Administrative Service in January 2019 to form the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples’ Movement (JKPM).
The ex-IAS topper was booked under the stringent PSA in February this year. On May 14, it was extended by three months. Now, the Home Department of the Union Territory has revoked the stringent act, which permits detention from three months to two years without a trial.
