Doda’s Taekwondo team was flagged off by DC Doda for the 13th Open National Taekwondo Championship, which will be held in Madhya Pradesh, India from May 13 to 15, 2022. Madhya Pradesh Taekwondo Association is hosting the event, under the aegis of the Taekwondo Federation of India.
It’s worth noting that the said selected team of female athletes was chosen by the District Doda Taekwondo Association based on the athletes’ recent performance at a recently ended camp trials. The trials were overseen by President of the DDTA, Junaid Khan.
As per statement issued to The Chenab Times, DC Doda interacted with the J&K Team Coach for the event, Mr Burhan Khan (Doda’s Chief Coach), as well as all of the athletes. He wishes them well and promises to help them financially with the event.
These athletes from District Doda who will be competing in their respective weight categories in the above-mentioned event are Rutba Majid, Zikra Fatima, and Khadija Ul Qubra.
