The State Investigation Agency (SIA) Kashmir is currently conducting raids at nine different locations across three districts of South Kashmir, as part of an ongoing investigation into the killing of Sanjay Sharma, a bank ATM guard, earlier this year.
Accompanied by the local police and paramilitary CRPF, SIA personnel have been deployed to carry out the searches. The targeted areas include Litter in Pulwama, Shirmal and Kachwa in Shopian, and Chittergul, Semthan, and Shangus Utrosoo in Anantnag districts of South Kashmir.
The raids are being conducted to gather evidence and further the investigation into the heinous murder of Sanjay Sharma, who was attacked by militants in Achan Pulwama in February 2023.
