Indian villages have the only fastest source of sending documents, exam fee form, Insurance installments and more i.e Post Office.
Thathri is one of the central place for three constituencies in Doda district. From several days, people contacted Chenab Times and told us about the situation of Post Office Thathri. Students and people are being disappointed from past 10-15 days due to non-functional post office.

While Chenab Times correspondent visited Post Office Thathri and found the computer operator working there excuses that system is not updated and claimed that he complaints to higher authorities but no one responded till date.

Chenab Times also tried to contact the head office Udhampur of Post Office Thathri, but no one attended the call. Later, our correspondent visited Tehsil officer and Tehsildar Thathri contacted the higher authorities of Post Office, where they assured to sort out the matter in 1 day. Tehsildar Thathri also assured us if the situation remains same, he will contact DDC Doda regarding this matter. Because many people visit his office regarding the same complaint.
