A non-local drug peddler, who was arrested a month ago, died at Sub Jail Pulwama on Tuesday.
An official told KNO that a non-local resident, who was arrested in a drug peddling case and lodged at Sub Jail Pulwama under NDPS Act, died after he fell unconscious there.
He said that soon after he felt unconscious, he was shifted to District Hospital Pulwama where doctors declared him brought dead.
He identified him as Harbajan Singh (29) of Gurdaspora.
He further added that Harbajan was arrested on 12 April from Naina village of Pulwama along with drugs and was shifted to sub jail just before 15 days.
He further added that body will be handed over to the relatives after all legal process.
