Doda Police fined 3124 people for COVID violations this week, collects an amount worth 3.39 lakh

During the enforcement of COVID-19 Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) by Doda Police in every nook and cranny of the district, using all available means, including imposing fines on Covid-19 violators, in order to achieve 100 percent compliance with the Ministry of Health Services, the Govt. of India’s largest setup.

In this week’s operation, Doda Police arrested 3124 Covid-19 Protocol offenders across the district, collected a fine of Rs. 339170/- (Rupees Three Lac Thirty-Nine Thousand One Hundred and Seventy only), and placed the money in the Red Cross Society’s fund upon legal receipt. In addition, police personnel stationed in rural sections of the District, including members of the Village Defense Committee, have been involved in a vaccination campaign awareness push in remote areas of the District Doda.

Abdul Qayoom JKPS, Doda Police’s officiating SSP, stated that Doda Police is committed to educating the public about Covid-19 SOPs and ensuring that they follow Covid-19 Appropriate Behavior in its entirety, as well as vaccination, which is the only way to avoid this fatal Pandemic. He enlisted the help of the general public, religious leaders, PRIs, journalists, and other stakeholders, urging them to come up for Covid-19 vaccination so that District Doda could become 100 percent vaccinated as soon as possible.
