Mendhar Gunners started Volleyball Tournament under ‘Khelega India Tabhi To Aage Badhega India’

Mendhar Gunners, under the aegis of the White Knight Corps, started a ‘Volleyball Tournament’ at Mendhar for the youth of Mendhar, which is a remote area. The aim of the tournament is to motivate youth to take up sports as a profession and to inculcate the value of sportsmanship. The knockout tournament will commence from October 4th to October 9th at Mendhar.

A total of 11 teams of boys from Mendhar and nearby villages are participating in the tournament with great zeal and enthusiasm. The final match will be played between two teams on 08/09 Oct 21.

Today the first match was played between Knight Club Salwa and Rising Star at Mendhar. The players displayed their sporting skills and gave a pitched fight for each and every point. Knight Club Salwa won this knockout match with great effort by defeating Rising Star by scores of 25-16 and 25-20.
