Pune Family Donates 100 Gram Gold Necklace to Himachal’s Bajreshwari Temple

A devout family from Pune, Maharashtra, has demonstrated its deep-seated faith by offering a substantial gold necklace weighing 100 grams to the deity at the renowned Bajreshwari temple in Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh. The offering was made for the ceremonial bed, known as ‘Shaiya’, of Goddess Bajreshwari, a significant act of devotion for worshippers.

Information was available with The Chenab Times that the family, which has consistently shown unwavering devotion to the Shaktipeeth, presented the precious offering during their recent visit to the temple. Vinod N Sharma, accompanied by his entire family, undertook the journey to seek the blessings of the goddess.

The Bajreshwari temple, located in Kangra, is one of the most revered Shaktipeeths in Northern India, attracting millions of devotees annually. These sacred sites are believed to be places where the body parts of Goddess Sati fell after her self-immolation. The temple’s historical significance and the perceived divine powers of the deity draw pilgrims from across the country, seeking spiritual solace and divine intervention.
