SRINAGAR: Six individuals sustained injuries in Baramulla district of North Kashmir on Wednesday when a vehicle veered off the road and struck an electric pole. The incident occurred on the Saloosa-Kreeri road.
Information was available with The Chenab Times that the accident took place after the vehicle, registered under number DL10CF-2841, reportedly lost control due to excessive speed near Saloosa Kreeri. The occupants of the vehicle suffered injuries as a result of the collision.
Emergency services promptly attended to the injured, who were initially transported to Sub-District Hospital Kreeri for immediate medical attention. Following their initial assessment and treatment, doctors determined that advanced care was necessary and referred all six individuals to the Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla.
The Jammu and Kashmir police have initiated an inquiry into the incident. Officials stated that further details regarding the circumstances leading to the accident are being collected and will be made available as the investigation progresses. The local administration has confirmed the details of the injured persons and their current medical status at GMC Baramulla.
