The patient, a 24-year-old woman from Lingaputtu village, sought treatment at Paderu Hospital after noticing swelling in her neck. Following diagnostic tests, she was diagnosed with Papillary Carcinoma of the thyroid, with the cancer having spread to the lymph nodes on the left side of her neck. Medical officials at GGH Paderu stated that the complexity of her condition necessitated an immediate surgical intervention.
