The University of Delhi’s postgraduate admissions process has seen significant movement with the release of the second round of allocations for various two-year postgraduate programmes. This phase has resulted in over 2,900 new seat assignments, building upon the initial round where more than 8,150 candidates had already confirmed their admissions.
Information was available with The Chenab Times indicating that the second round of postgraduate admissions has seen 2,964 new candidates allocated seats. This development follows the first round, where 8,150 candidates had successfully confirmed their positions, signalling a robust engagement in the ongoing admission cycle. The university highlighted that a substantial number of candidates are actively participating, with many confirming their current allocations while others are seeking upgrades.
Within the second round, a total of 3,399 candidates opted to freeze their allotted seats, indicating satisfaction with their current programme and college placement. Concurrently, 2,448 candidates chose the upgrade option, aiming to secure a higher preference in subsequent rounds. A further 2,303 candidates neither selected the freeze nor the upgrade option, suggesting they are awaiting further developments or considering other avenues.
The University of Delhi announced that the results for the Round 2 allocations are now accessible on the postgraduate admission portal. Alongside the allocations, the minimum score required for admission into various programmes has also been published on the official university website, providing crucial information for candidates to gauge their standing.
In parallel, the admission process for the Five Year Integrated Law Programme has progressed to its third round. To date, 104 candidates have confirmed their admissions in this specialized law course. The university has made the Round 3 allocations for the integrated law programme available and has also published the latest cut-off scores relevant to this round on its website.
