SRINAGAR: A 17-year-old boy was discovered deceased inside his residence in the Noorbagh area of Srinagar on Tuesday.
Information was available with The Chenab Times that the teenager, a resident of Noorbagh, was found hanging in a room at his home.
He was promptly transported to Shri Maharaja Hari Singh Hospital (SMHS) in Srinagar. Doctors at the hospital examined him and confirmed that he was brought in dead.
The incident occurred within a room at the boy’s residence, according to sources. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death.
The Srinagar police have registered a case and commenced proceedings to ascertain the details of the incident.
The motive behind the death remains unclear as investigations are ongoing.
