DODA, April 4 – One person was killed and another critically injured in a road accident on Friday in the Gandoh area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district, officials said.
The incident occurred near Darmoti when an Alto car, bearing registration number JK06C 4088, veered off the road under unknown circumstances.
The deceased has been identified as Sonu Kumar, 30, son of Bishan Lal, a resident of Batara village. Another occupant of the vehicle, Pooran Chand, 60, son of Chadu Ram, also from Batara, sustained serious injuries and was shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Doda for treatment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, authorities said.
