Today at Around 9:00 am lightning struck the sheeps and goats in Ishran Thath near Nagar top of tehsil Marmat Distt Doda. According to sources, we got information that these animals were grazing in its place in this morning and suddenly sky lightning caused the situation of on spot death of these animals.
Those whose animals have been killed are as under.
- Kuljit Singh S/o phul Singh 5 goats,
- Javeed ahmed S/o Wazir ahmed 4 goats and one sheep’ Alias ahmed S/o javeed ahmed 6 goats,
- Kishori lal s/o Gulabu Ram 2 He goats.
As soon as it came to know about this incident, there was a panic among the locals and they went to the incident spot where this incident took place and expressed their regret to the owner of these animals.
While talking to the Chenab Times some residents told that these Shepherd went to the mountains for grazing their animals in summer seassion .
While talking to the media, people have rurged to the District administration that these poor people should get compensation for this.
