Numbers of residents from Shahlalla Latezar area of Gandoh sub division in Doda district gathered today and raised issues regarding road connectivity.
As per details available with Chenab Times, the road was sanctioned from Malsar to Latezar via Shahlalla in 2018. But till date the construction of this road is incomplete and locals from this area have to walk around 10KM by foot to reach tehsil headquarter. As it is a hilly area, the patients face more difficulties to reach hospital.
Ifham Jigar, a resident of Shahlalla area said, “We are suffering very problems due to non availability of road. As this road is completed 1 KM only since 2018. It is all because of ignorance of administration, contractors and political leaders.”
They have requested to LG Manoj Sinha and DC Doda Dr Sagar Doiphode to intervene in this matter and restore the construction of road as soon as possible, so that the residents’ suffering end.
