Yesterday evening, members of the District Planning Committee (DPC) met in the conference hall of the DC office in Doda to approve the district plan for the years 2021-22.
District Development Council Chairperson Dhananter Singh Kotwal, Vice Chairperson Sangeeta Rani Bhagat, and other PRI members were present at the meeting.
The meeting was attended by DC Doda Vikas Sharma, ADDC Mohammad Hanief Malik, CPO, ACD, ACP, Ex. Engineers, and other concerned officers.
During the proceedings, a proposal for approval of the District Plan for the year 2021-22 was tabled for approval, and the District Planning Committee approved the Plan of Rs. 76060.78 lacs for the year 2021-22, which includes UT component 1010.55 lacs, loan component 2648.68 lacs, and Central share 58658.08 lacs, which will help the district’s development.
It was announced that under the PRI grants, Rs 23.30 lakhs would be allocated per Panchayat, Rs 25 lakhs per Block for Block Development Councils, and Rs 10 crore grants for District Development Councils, in addition to other sectors.
During the meeting, Chairman DDC urged the officers to approach the development in a mission-oriented manner so that the end result is admired by the general public.
