A demand for the creation of another new district for Bhaderwah by bifurcating Doda was made once again by Senior Legal Advisor Chenab Times Adv Mohd Majid Malik on Friday. He recently met three Union Ministers of State who visited Jammu and Kashmir for a public outreach programme with a memorandum of demands related to Bhaderwah, especially the creation of a new district Bhaderwah keeping in view the qualification and historical background of the area.
Adv Mohd Majid Malik alleged that political leaders of Bhaderwah for the last 70 years have only talked about their personal interests, ignored the sentiments of Bhaderwah, and never raised the demand for district Bhaderwah. There is a demand for a new Bhaderwah district.
“Shortly, a meeting of the public from all parts of the Bhaderwah constituency will be called to formulate a strategy for a struggle in this regard,” he added, and appealed to people to be united for the Bhaderwah cause for a bright future for coming generations.
