In a harrowing incident, Gul Mohd, son of Anwar Shah and resident of Shwadi Kastigarh, sustained injuries in a bear attack at Banzal Kashtigarh. The incident unfolded on Wednesday around 6pm.
Following the bear encounter Gul Mohd was promptly shifted to the Government Medical College (GMC) Doda for necessary medical attention, The Chenab Times correspondent informed. The extent of his injuries remains undisclosed at this time.
The local authorities and wildlife officials are likely to conduct an investigation into the incident to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the bear attack.
Residents and local authorities are urged to exercise caution in areas known to be frequented by wildlife and to promptly report any such encounters to the relevant authorities.
