SRINAGAR, March 31: Ashok Koul, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s General Secretary for Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh, has called upon party workers to address the issues faced by the public with utmost dedication and sincerity. The directive was issued during a ‘Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan’ event held in the Kokernag constituency at Breng, Kokernag, hosted at Hotel Green Gallery.
According to details received by The Chenab Times, the event saw the presence of several senior party leaders, including District President Rakesh Koul, Sofi Yousuf, Nazir Ahmad, Adv Wajahat Hussain, Abid Hussain, and Chaudhary Roshan. The training program, identified as the Pandit Deen Dayal Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan 2026, is a significant initiative by the BJP aimed at reinforcing its ideological framework and enhancing the capabilities of its party cadre.
Ashok Koul emphasized that such training exercises are crucial for developing a better organizational understanding, improving communication skills, and fostering leadership qualities essential for effective public engagement among party workers. He highlighted that the party’s core strength resides in its committed workers, who serve as a vital link between the government and the populace.
The BJP leader underscored the imperative for party activists to maintain constant connection with the masses. He urged them to actively listen to the concerns and problems articulated by the public and to work diligently towards their resolution. Koul reiterated that a commitment to dedication and sincerity in these efforts is paramount.
He further stated that the BJP’s strategic focus remains on cultivating a robust grassroots network, supported by a cadre that is not only well-trained but also ideologically well-informed. This approach, he explained, is intended to ensure the effective propagation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision and the efficient delivery of welfare schemes down to the last mile.
During the event, other speakers also addressed the gathering, underscoring the importance of unity, coordinated efforts, and sustained outreach activities. They encouraged party workers to remain steadfast in their adherence to the party’s core principles and to engage in collective work to foster the party’s growth within the region. The emphasis was placed on building a strong organizational foundation through dedicated service and ideological alignment.
