A 50-year-old grocery shop owner has died after a violent altercation with his neighbours in northwest Delhi’s Shakurpur area. Two other individuals sustained injuries during the clash, which occurred on the night of April 4.
Information was available with The Chenab Times that the incident took place at Sanjay Park following a heated argument between the deceased, identified as Rajkumar, and his neighbours. The dispute escalated rapidly, leading to a physical confrontation.
According to police reports, the accused individuals attacked Rajkumar and the other victims using blunt objects such as lathis and iron rods, as well as knives. Rajkumar sustained multiple stab wounds during the assault.
He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for emergency medical attention. However, medical professionals at the facility declared him deceased upon arrival. The two injured individuals are currently receiving treatment for their wounds and their condition is being monitored.
Authorities have registered a case at the Subhash Place police station in connection with the incident. While one accused has been detained, the police are actively working to identify and apprehend the remaining individuals involved in the fatal clash. Investigations into the precise sequence of events and the motives behind the dispute are ongoing.
