A 30-year-old man was fatally shot by unidentified individuals on motorcycles in Jabbowal village, near Amritsar, on Friday night, according to police reports.
Information was available with The Chenab Times that the victim, identified as Manjinder Singh, operated an agriculture store. He was reportedly on his way home on his motorcycle when the incident occurred. Authorities have reportedly obtained some CCTV footage of the suspects, but its clarity was limited due to poor lighting conditions in the area. Mr. Singh is survived by his wife and their seven-month-old child.
Manjit Singh, the Station House Officer at Tarsikka police station, stated that efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the perpetrators. A case has been registered based on the statement provided by the victim’s father, Avtar Singh.

Local residents who heard the gunshots rushed to the scene to find him lying on the road.
