‘3 AK-47 rifles, 4 pistols, and ammunition recovered’

Jammu and Kashmir police claimed on Saturday that they had foiled a militants’ attempt to smuggle weapons, claiming that three AK rifles, four pistols, and other ammunition had been recovered at forward Jabdi in the Tangdhar sector.
According to The Chenab Times, Kashmir Zone Police said in a tweet that Kupwara police and the Army thwarted an attempt by militants to smuggle weapons in an operation at the forward Jabfi Tangdhar sector in Kupwara.
It was reported that three AK-47 rifles, six magazines, four pistols, and nine magazines had been recovered from the location, and that a search operation was underway in the area.
“Kupwara Police & Army in an ops at the fowrad Jabdi Tangdhar Sector Kupwara today thwarted an attempt by #terrorists to #smuggle weapons. 03 AK-47 rifles & 06 magazines and 04 pistols & 9 magazines have been recovered from the spot. Search in the area is going on,” Kashmir Zone Police tweeted
