A 16-yr-old minor boy and his brother travelling on Dool-Cherji road met with an accident near Cherji area in Kishtwar district, resulting into the death of the minor boy while injuring his brother on Sunday.
As per information reached by The Chenab Times, one Alto 800 car bearing registration number JK17-7499 while travelling on Dool-Cherji road, met with an accident near Cherji, resulting in the injury of two people.
According to a local, the locals came to know about the accident, and they rushed to the spot for rescue. Both the injured passengers were rescued by the rescue team and shifted to DH Kishtwar for treatment, but unfortunately, one of the injured succumbed to the injuries on the way to the hospital.
Meanwhile, Red Cross Society Kishtwar and SHO Police Station Kishtwar also rushed to the spot.
The information available with The Chenab Times identified the injured person as Gagan Kumar, son of Satish Kumar, a resident of Dool, whereas the deceased has been identified as 16-yr-old Sujal Kumar, who was the real brother of injured Gagan Kumar.
After completing all legal formalities by hospital authorities and a police team headed by SHO, Kishtwar, the dead body of the deceased has been handed over to the family for last rites, and the injured Kumar is under treatment at DH Kishtwar.
