DC Directs to expedite the miscellaneous work on the lifeline project for the early completion
The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Vikas Sharma today visited at the site of GMC Doda where the installation of Oxygen Generation Plant and 630 KVA transformer is ongoing and executed by different engineering departments.
It has been apprised to the DC that civil work has been completed, the work on cross over fly over is ongoing and shall be completed in next two days, besides informed that in oxygen generation module with allied equipments/ machinery is being installed and shall be made functional within days.
The DC directed the concerned to expedite the pending work of construction of cross over within the schedule time frame, besides asked the Mechanical department to mobilise all the men and machinery in coordination with the concerned installation agency so that all the pending miscellaneous works regarding the OGP shall be completed and shall be accordingly made functional in order to combat the fight against Covid-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile the DC also took stock of the installation of 630 KVA transformer at the proposed site which shall provide the uninterrupted power supply to the OGP, for which the DC has been apprised that the installation has been completed and the pending cable work and charging of the transformer shall be done in two days.
The DC informed the concerned that it is lifeline project keeping in view the current scenario of Covid mitigation preparedness and it shall be completed under set timelines, besides asked the concerned to daily update the progress of work to his office on priority. He entrusted the electric department to ensure 24×7 power supply in the plant, besides directed Mechanical department to take concrete steps for the effective operation and maintenance once the plant is commissioned.
The DC was accompanied by MS Associated Hospital GMC Doda, EX EN PWD Doda, Mechanical Division, AEE PDD, PWD, besides other concerned officials.
