NCC (Naval) and (Infantry) Wings of the Govt. Degree College, Doda organized a program in connection with the celebration of Vijay Diwas on 16th December, 2021. The program was organized under the guidance and patronship of Principal of the College Prof. (Dr.) Attar Singh Kotwal and under the aegis of IQAC, GDC, Doda. It is pertinent to mention here that India celebrates Vijay Diwas every year on December 16th to commemorate its victory over Pakistan in the 1971 war, which led to the creation of Bangladesh.
The program started with the introductory lecture delivered by Prof. Zain Batt, ANO/CTO , NCC (Naval Wing ) GDC, Doda. It was followed by a motivational lecture by Prof. Babu Ram, HOD ( Chemistry) .He also enlightened them about the past wars fought by Indian Armed forces .Dr. Arjun Singh, ANO/CTO , NCC ( Infantry) also addressed the cadets and students. Dr. Jagmohan Sharma presented vote of thanks. On this occasion Dr. Ajaz A. Wani,Prof. K K. Manhas , and other staff members were also present.
The cadets who participated in the program are Sofia, Tina, Neesha , Sumiya, Neena , Simran, Jagdeep , Bikey and Vicky . The whole program was coordinated by Cadet Ashish Kotwal of NCC (Naval Wing), GDC, Doda.
