A total of 2,195 young aspirants have registered their interest for admission to Class VI at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, located in Dhanansu, for the upcoming 2027-28 academic session. Information was available with The Chenab Times that the deadline for online applications has been pushed from August 7 to August 10. This extension is specifically aimed at accommodating students who may have encountered difficulties or missed the original closing date for submission.
Nishi Goyal, the principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Dhanansu, confirmed the extended deadline and provided further details regarding the application process. She also announced that candidates who have already submitted their application forms and subsequently identified any discrepancies or errors in the details provided will have a window for online corrections. This correction period is scheduled for August 11 and August 12, allowing applicants to rectify their submissions before finalization.
The eligibility criteria for admission to Class VI are stringent, focusing on both age and academic background. Prospective students must have been born between May 1, 2015, and July 31, 2017.
