In a preceding semifinal, Mohali had secured their place by defeating Ludhiana district with a score of 56-31. The final standings saw the Ludhiana Basketball Academy emerge as champions, followed by Mohali in second place and Kapurthala securing the third position.
Boys’ Category Sees Intense Competition Culminating in LBA Victory
The boys’ section of the championship was marked by closely contested matches, culminating in another triumph for the Ludhiana Basketball Academy. In a nail-biting semifinal encounter, Ludhiana district narrowly edged out Khanna by a single point, with a final score of 63-62. Meanwhile, the LBA also faced a formidable challenge in their semifinal, ultimately prevailing over Patiala in a high-scoring contest with a score of 82-80. This hard-fought victory paved their way to the championship title. In the final league standings for the boys’ category, the LBA secured the first position, Patiala finished as runners-up, and Ludhiana district claimed the third spot.
