National Voter’s Day Pledge Ceremony Held By Doda Police

On the eve of National Voter’s day on 25th January, a pledge ceremony was held by District Police Doda at all its units including Police Stations, Police Posts and Police pickets.

Main function was held at District Police Lines Doda where SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom read out the contents of the pledge and all the officers and officials repeated the same after him.

After reading out the pledge , SSP Doda also briefed the officials and explained the meaning as well as purpose of the pledge that it aims to make the judicious use of one’s vote without envisaging any religion, cast , creed and without any fear so that maximum inclusiveness, accessibility and participation in the election can be ensured.

Among other officers who attended the pledge ceremony included SP HQrs Doda Master Popsy, SP OPs Doda Raj Kumar, Dy. SP DAR Doda Shokat Ali, Dy. SP Hqrs Doda Jaswant Singh and other officer and officials of DPL Doda.

In other sub units of the District, the pledge ceremony was also held and senior most functionary of the unit read out the pledge.
